Maryland DHCD's Be SMART Home Program
The Be SMART Home Program offers rebates and loans to improve home energy efficiency through appliance, heating, and cooling upgrades and whole house envelope improvements. Frederick County residents with homes outside of the Potomac Edison service area and residents that use non-electric heat and do not have central AC are eligible for the reduced cost energy audits and 50% energy efficiency rebates.
